How Niger Insurance Dupes Nigerians Through ALLAH Policy
For some time now, pretty ladies have been seen around the Mainland, Ikeja, Anthony and Palmgrove axis canvassing for clients to save money on monthly or annual basis in the company’s ALLAH Policy account. We learnt this has been in existence for many years, but only recently a reliable source hinted that there was more to the working of ALLAH than the public is made to know.

The source, whose relation recently experienced the other side of ALLAH told us that last year, precisely in April of 2013, a lady walked to her aunt and introduced herself as coming from Niger Insurance ALLAH POLICY SAVE YOUR MONEY. She convinced the woman to start with any amount monthly, and that after a year she would be able to access her savings. The aunt accepted to save the sum of N15,000 monthly and this prompted the marketer, names withheld, to bring out a form for her to fill for account opening. She did and also handed over the money to the marketer. Subsequently, she was paying the N15,000 into the opened account every month end after which she would get an alert and everything was going on well and smoothly until ending of April this year when her monthly contributions had reached the one-year maturity period. She called the marketer to confirm when she could come for her money which had totaled N180,000. She was invited to their office and asked to fill a teller to process her money, which she did. Surprisingly that was where it ended because till date she has been calling the marketer and the office for her money and each time she called they would ask her to be patient, that her payment was being processed.

When she went there recently to know how the processing was going on, she was told that her cheque was with the manager and was yet to be signed. However, while coming out of the office, one of the staff walked up to her to appeal to her to be a little more patient as the company was facing challenges and there was no money in the company’s account unless the head office sends some money to their branch.

Global News believes this is a tactical way of defrauding unsuspected customers by Niger Insurance plc., unless it is proven otherwise by prompt payment to customers as at when due. [showads ad=GLO]
