Reports reaching Global News have it that the trouble started some months back when the handsome dude took his wife to the law court in a suit number ONACC/32/1 dated 15/11/2013 which was filed in the Oshimili North Area Customary Court, holden in Akwukwu Igbo, Delta State. [showads ad=GLO]
The Honourable Commissioner claimed that he married his wife 7 years ago under customary law at Illah in the same local government area in Delta State.
According to him, he had been living with his wife in their house at 4, Commissioners' Quarters, GRA Asaba since December 2007 until the union ended on June 2013. In some of the allegations Funkekeme laid against his wife, he alleged that the woman travels within and outside the country without his consent and approval. He also added that the wife was temperamental and with this attitude, she had destroyed his properties at the slightest provocation. The commissioner said since the marriage did not produce any child, there is nothing stopping him from dissolving it.
