WHY GOV. AMOSUN FAVORS FOREIGN INVESTORS TO LOCAL INVESTORS

Though the Ogun state government under the able leadership of Governor Ibikunle Amosun is doing all his possible best to attract foreign investor to the state to further boost the revenue base of the civil servant state and provide jobs opportunities for the indigenes of the state.

However this magazine gathered that the governor is given more preference to foreign investors especially the Chinese to the detriments of hardworking Nigerians who are looking for lands where they can start a business.

According to one the aggrieved investors who disclosed that it’s not easy to get a land in Ogun state, even to buy is difficult so that one will not buy acquisition land. He went further that prospective investors are ready to buy land for their businesses with the way the governor is dealing with those who he allegedly bought acquisition land by demolishing whatever they have on the said property.

But what is baffling many people is that while the son of the soil are finding it very difficult to get land in Ogun State the foreigners especially the Chinese are not finding it difficult because the governor without any delay always approves their application without any delay.

Though one busy body claimed that whenever Chinese are coming to meet the governor, they have what it takes and knows what to discuss with the Owu born politician to the extent that even before they leave his presence the deal is sealed and signed and one can see this with influx of Chinese companies that have flooded the state in recent times.
