How AK Media Boss, Benson Akindeju Died of Cancer
Asiwaju Benson Akindeju, the Chief Executive Officer of AK Media Concepts, producers of award winning programs, FACE2FACE, FAMILY TIES, NOWHERE TO BE FOUND, LIBERTY VILLA and OYINMOMO ON DSTV is dead. He died of a cancer related ailment on Monday, March 4th 2019 at a London hospital. His first wife, Adetutu, died of the same ailment at the Eko Hospital some years ago.
While battling with the ailment, the bulky Akindeju after trying several medical options, made frantic efforts to see Pastor TB Joshua of Synagogue Church of All Nations, but the clergyman turned him down severally.
“Akindeju just had the believe that if he can meet Pastor Joshua, the affliction will be over, but the Pastor repeatedly refused to give him audience. The same thing he did when Akindeju’s wife was also down with cancer of the breast,” a source close to the media mogul told Global News.
Asiwaju Benson, 58, was a business man whose passion for entertainment made him had a shot in hospitality business thus having Big Soul hotels in Lagos and his home town Igbotako, Ondo state.
