Eastern Union endorses Humphrey Anumudu for Imo governor

A group, the Eastern Union has endorsed the candidature of Mr. Humphrey Anumudu as governor of Imo state in the forthcoming governorship election. Anumudu is contesting on the platform of the Zenith Labour Party.

In a release made available to news hunters in Abuja penultimately, Eastern Union through its National President; Hon. Charles Anike said, the endorsement came after x-raying the array of elements jostling for the hot seat. Humphrey Anumudu is an example of a thoroughbred politician, a man of impeccable character, a diligent entrepreneur and a forthright philanthropist who has contributed to both the development of men and the state in all its ramifications, the statement read.

“We have decided to call on all our members and supporters to troupe out and vote for him as we know he will not sell the state to the highest bidder or would he bombard the state with his family and cronies in order to enrich himself and distribute the collective patrimony of the people to a few friends”.
