PASUMA HEADLINES 3RD ASA WA DAY IN MANCHESTER
After two fantastic seasons of unparalleled success at hosting one of United Kingdom’s socio-cultural reference points, all is now set for the third edition of the much touted event reputed for its brand affinity and value.
Tagged Asa Wa Day 2019, the event is a creation of Buklad Concepts, one of UK’s leading socio-cultural advocacy outfit renowned for its leading and impressive giant strides in cultural promotion of the Yoruba race.
Billed to hold on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the prestigious Banquet Hall, Cheethamhill, Manchester, United Kingdom; all efforts towards making the day another success story are in top gear especially in terms of protocols, logistics and activations.
According to Oluwabukola Shittu popularly known and referred to as Buklad, “Asa Wa Day 2019 is a reflection of our continuous passion and commitment to the promotion and upliftment of the Yoruba race. Our various successes and challenges constitutes our propeller to remain focussed and committed to this. In reality of the support and encouragement from our diverse publics, we have decided to take advantage of the evolving opportunities”.
Continuing, Buklad disclosed that “Our mission of multi-cultural arts promotion, ethnic diversity, and positive image remain strong, and we are proud to continue to make new changes. The entire production has been revamped to make every participant feel like a front row seat. Modelling opportunities, Awards, Community volunteer positions, Business networking and other initiatives shall feature in this year’s edition”.
“Contrary to various erroneous impression of Nigerians, Asa Wa Day 2019 is billed to exemplify and celebrate the rich cultural values and heritage embedded in our country. Therefore, In this third edition, we are introducing new elements to making this year’s edition one that goes down in history as our best”, she said.
Besides the various innovations being introduced by the planning committee, Buklad further revealed that Asa Wa Day 2019 will be headlined by one of Nigeria’s leading entertainer. “Yes, we have the support of Manchester based artistes who have all expressed and indicated their love and participation. The icing on the cake will be the grand performance by my brother; and a staunch supporter of Asa Wa Day since its inception, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma”.
Buklad further disclosed that deserving awards will also be given out to outstanding personalities and organisations for their individual and collective contributions to the Nigerian community in the United Kingdom; while the event won’t be complete without the crowing of Miss Asa Wa 2019.
