Kidnap of Gold Kolawole : Founder of Sotitobire ,Prophet Babatunde Alfa ,5 Others Get life Imprisonment

The Founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel Akure ,Ondo State Prophet Babatunde Alfa and five of his church workers have been sentenced to Life imprisonment for the Kidnap and eventual disappearance of Gold Kolawole , a toddler from the church children department during Sunday service last year.

Justice Olusegun Odusola of the Ondo state High Court while pronouncing judgement on Tuesday October 6 ,2020 found the accused persons guilty of the two count charge of kidnapping and aiding and abetting to kidnap based on the circumstancial evidence presented by the prosecution led by the Ondo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.

The Judge came down hard on the Ondo State Police Command for what he described as complicity, compromise, and lackadaisical attitude . He blamed the police for the riot that led to the burning down or the church by an irate mob during the course of investigation
