Oyo has Lost A Precious Gem – Dare Adeleke Mourns Yeye Ogundoyin

This is one of the most difficult message to pen. It was with unbelievable shock that we received the news of the death of Yeye Justina Iyabode Adedoyin ogundoyin, a great achiever, a dynamic Amazon and mother of the Speaker of the Oyo House of Assembly, Debo Ogundoyin.

She was indeed a rare gem, beautiful, hardworking, brilliant woman and an exceptional wife to her late husband, the late Chief Adedoyin, and mother to both her children and so many other youths who called her, mother, including my son, Samuel Dare Jnr.

Mrs Ogundoyin has left her mark on the sands of time, as a leader in the oil and gas industry, her ability to impact on all around her led to her appointment as the Iyaloja-General by the Coalition of Traders in Oyo State. She was a known philanthropist, a business mogul, a political mobilizer and above all a doting and loving mother to her four children.

Oyo has indeed lost a precious gem.

May God almighty console the family she left behind and may her beautiful soul rest in peace.
