How I tried To Convince Bimbo Ogunbanjo From Traveling With Herbert Wigwe The Day He Died….. Sola Faleye, Herbert’s PA

Sola Faleye  the personal assistant to Herbert Wigwe has disclosed how he tried to convince the Late former chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group Plc,Bimbo Ogunbanjo from not travelling with Herbert Wigwe who died in a chopper flight on his way to Las Vegas in the United States of America alongside his Wife Chizoba and Son Chizy.

The helicopter reportedly crashed south of Interstate 15, near Halloran Springs Rd , in Southern California’s Mojave Desert.

Sola disclosed this during the night of tributes for Herbert Wigwe in Lagos.

He said Ogunbanjo chatted with him some days before the ill fated crash on February 9th 2024.

Sola further stated that he didn’t know why he was trying to convince Ogunbanjo from not travelling with Herbert, that during the course of the conversation he told Ogunbanjo that Herbert will first go to Abuja for a meeting but he said he would wait.

Emotion laden Sola said  that he also informed Ogunbanjo how Herbert’s movement is not always stable and that he can detour to another country mid air other than his destination but Ogunbanjo said he’s going to wait not minding how long Herbert Wigwe’s engagement would last

Sola said he finally gave up to convince him when he realized it was a fruitless effort convincing him,seeing that he has already made up his mind to travel with Herbert and family which turned out to be his last and eventually claimed his life alongside  Herbert, wife and Son.

The remains of Bimbo Ogunbanjo has since been laid to rest at the family compound in Erunwon, Ijebu Ode South West of Nigeria.
