A Nation in Crisis: Hunger and Poverty Reach Alarming Levels.

The stark reality of hunger and poverty in our land has been laid bare. The middle class has all but disappeared, leaving only the rich and the poorest. The consequences are devastating.

Tragedy struck yesterday at a charity event, where a staggering 20,000 or more children arrived for free meals and gifts, overwhelming the initial provision for 5,000. This heartbreaking turnout underscores the dire levels of poverty and hunger in our community.

We commend Queen Naomi and Agidigbo FM Radio Station for their selfless efforts to provide for the needy. Their charitable initiative, although marred by tragedy, demonstrates the compassion and generosity that our nation needs.

Our deepest condolences go out to the families affected. May the souls of the departed rest in peace.
