Breaking News: Former President Shehu Shagari is dead

Second civlian president of Nigeria Alhaji Shehu Shagari is dead. He died today after a proctrated illness at the national hospital Abuja at the ripe age of 93.

In a terse statement by the governor of Sokoti Aminu Tambuwal on his twitter handle he wtote:
