Multi-talented Nigeria song writer, singer and performer, David Adeleke also known as Davido, is currently heartbroken over the death of his uncle, Senator Isiaka Adeleke.
The music star who is the darling of many many Nigerians and non-Nigerians alike took to his various social media accounts on Monday to express his loss, described the late first Civilian Governor of Osun State as his hero.
Davido wrote on his twitter and Instagram handle @iam davido, “Heartbroken… Rest In Peace My dear uncle.. SHERUBAWON’’. We also gathered that he is trying to cancel some shows that were already lined up as a sign of respect for late Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke.
The three -time senator who represented Osun West Senatorial district until his death was also a former governor of Osun State.
The 62-year uncle of Davido who died at Biket Hospital in Oshogbo after suffering a heart attack was said to be very close to Davido and used to “cruise town” together whenever the late Senator was in Lagos.We also gathered that both Davido and his late uncle had so many things in common than Deji Adeleke (Isiaka Adeleke’s brother) and his son Davido.Late Isiaka Adeleke’s bubbly and warm personality have indeed rubbed off on Davido whose generosity is known to be second to none.
