IMMEDIATE PAST NASS FINANCE SECRETARY LASISI BUKOYE IN FRAUD SCANDAL

The National Assembly of Nigeria has lately been in the news for all the wrong reasons. From the invasion of the Senate and snatching of the mace to financial corruption, Nigerians are aghast that the national assembly management is now synonymous for financial graft.
Two months ago, Alhaji Lasisi Bukoye secretary of Finance and Accounts Directorate retired from service. Alhaji Bukoye had served in all the juicy positions during his active days in NASS, from the director of procurement to Secretary of the finance & accounts directorate, he is alleged to be stupendously rich and he is accused dipped his hands in the public till. Bukoye is said to be currently hiding in one of his numerous houses in Dubai which are proceeds from years of corruption practice while in service. He is said to be staying under the radar in other to evade arrest.
According to sources, an audit report was said to have heavily indicted him and the former clerk, Alhaji Salisu Maikasuwa for looting billions of naira.
Well meaning Nigerians are already appealing to President muhammadu Buhari to extradite him immediately to the country to face justice.

Meanwhile, all efforts to hear his own side of the story proved abortive as he refused to reply our calls and messages sent to his phone.
