ORIMOLUSI OF IJEBU IGBO CORONATION COMMITTEE RELEASES CORONATION PROGRAMME OF EVENTS
The Chairman of the Orimolusi Coronation Committee, Otunba Femi Dinah, on behalf of the Coronation Committee, has released the programme of activities to mark the coronation ceremony of the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo, Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba Adebajo.
This was made public upon receipt of the letter from Ogun State Government, via the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, confirming the appointment of His Royal Majesty, Oba Jaiyeola Adebajo as the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo.
The Schedule of activities are as follows:
SATURDAY 19TH FEBRUARY 2022 ,11.00AM-ORIMOLUSI-ELECT HOME COMING. KABIYESI MEETS JUBILANT IJEBU IGBO PEOPLE BETWEEN IJEBU-IGBO AND ORU FOR A TRIUMPHANT ENTRY INTO TOWN
SATURDAY EVENING – OTHER TRADITIONAL ENGAGEMENTS COMMENCE.
WEDNESDAY 23RD FEBRUARY, 2022 ,10.00AM- CORONATION CEREMONY AT THE ORIMOLUSI PALACE GROUND.
FRIDAY 25TH,2022, 1.00PM -JUMAT SERVICE AT IJEBU IGBO CENTRAL MOSQUE, OKE SOPEN.
SUNDAY 27TH, 2022 ,10.00AM – CHURCH SERVICE AT ST PETERS CATHOLIC CHURCH, OKE PADI, OKE SOPEN
Comprehensive details of daily activities will be further released as at when due.
Meanwhile, activities are in top gear to ensure a befitting and grand Coronation Ceremony as top Government representatives, industry chieftains and distinguished sons and daughters of Ijebu Igbo are expected to grace the epic making occasion.
